For kids and families

In our public events programme, we regularly offer workshops in which children experience topics from nature or history in a lively way. The focus here is on active learning and experience as well as fun. Some workshops are for children only, others are for children and their accompanying adults. Family tours are also regularly on the programme.

For adults

Our program includes a varied range of evening events. In addition to lectures on current research and further information on the topics of the special exhibitions, you can expect readings, film screenings or yoga in a special atmosphere.

Guided exhibition tours

The museum regularly offers guided tours of the exhibitions for all visitors on Sundays (only in German). You can take part without prior registration. At irregular intervals, there are also family tours and guided tours in Low German. Participation in the guided tours costs 4 euros per person, in addition to admission to the museum.
